New Delhi, March 18 (H.S.): A delegation of Indian athletes who returned after winning medals at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2025 held in Turin, Italy, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House on Tuesday. These athletes from India won a total of 33 medals, including 8 gold, 18 silver, and 7 bronze, across various competitions.
Prime Minister Modi shared pictures of the meeting with the athletes on X, stating, I am very proud of our athletes who have brought glory to the country at the Special Olympics World Winter Games held in Turin, Italy. Our team has won 33 medals. I met with the medal-winning athletes in the Parliament complex and congratulated them on their achievements.
