NEW DELHI, 20 February (H.S.) : Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's health deteriorated on Thursday. She has been admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital.

According to hospital administration, her health is fine. It is being told that a team of doctors is monitoring her. She is likely to be discharged on Friday. Sonia Gandhi completed 77 years-old in December 2024.

Last year, in September 2024 also, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital due to ill health. She had mild fever. Before that, in March 2024, she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital due to ill health. The medical bulletin was issued after one day later said that her condition was stable and she was completely healthy. Due to ill health, Sonia Gandhi did not attend the Congress Working Committee meeting (CWC) held in Belagavi, Karnataka in December last year.
