New Delhi, 20 February (HS): The first meeting of the newly formed cabinet was held today under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in the capital Delhi. In this meeting, two major decisions were taken to present the CAG report and to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

The Chief Minister and ministers of the Delhi government took oath and took charge at Ramlila Maidan today and participated in the Yamuna Aarti in the evening.

After this, the first meeting of the Delhi Cabinet was held today. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held a press conference about the first meeting of the cabinet.

She said that the Ayushman scheme of the Central Government has been approved in the first meeting of the cabinet. Under the Ayushman scheme, an insurance cover of five lakhs is given to the beneficiaries and in Delhi it will be implemented with an additional cover of 5 lakhs.

She informed that the cabinet has approved the presentation of 14 pending reports of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) related to the Delhi government in the assembly.
