New Delhi, 20 February (HS): Congress party has made many important changes with the aim of strengthening the organization. Party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal has issued an official release announcing new presidents of Mahila Congress in various states. Also, the party has expressed confidence in Captain Arvind Kumar as the new vice president of the National War Room.

Congress has handed over the command of Rajasthan Mahila Congress to Sarika Singh, while Geeta Patel has been made the president of Gujarat and Dr. Pratiksha N. Khalap has been made the president of Goa Mahila Congress. Apart from this, Jodinliani has been appointed as the president of Manipur, A. Rahmathunnisa of Puducherry and Zubaida Begum of Andaman-Nicobar Mahila Congress.

Party President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the proposal to appoint Captain Arvind Kumar as the Vice President of the Congress National War Room. This change is being seen as a step to make the strategy for the upcoming elections more effective.

Apart from this, the Congress President has approved the appointment of Madan Lal as the President of the SC Department of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee.

These changes made by the Congress are being considered an important step towards strengthening the organization and strengthening the party structure in view of the upcoming elections.
