Nagar, 19 Feb (HS): Uttar Pradesh's Minister of State (Independent Charge) for

Backward Classes Welfare and Disabled Empowerment Narendra Kashyap took a holy

dip in the Sangam along with his family on Wednesday. During this, he prayed

for world welfare and prosperity of Sanatan culture.

Narendra Kashyap said that Maha Kumbh is not just a religious ritual, but it is

a living proof of the glory of Indian culture and the integrity of Sanatan tradition.

In this great festival, crores of devotees from the country and abroad come to

earn merit, which proves its global reputation. He said that the Uttar Pradesh

government has provided facilities on a wide scale to make Maha Kumbh divine

and grand. An ideal environment has been created here for bathing, religious

activities and meditation in the presence of saints. He said that Kumbh Mela is

a tribute to Sanatan culture and through this the message of India's spiritual

power goes to the whole world.
