New Delhi, 30 December (HS): Over 20 lakh public grievances were redressed and revenue of Rs 833 crore was generated through the disposal of scrap during 2025, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference here, Singh said the year witnessed a strong push towards governance reforms aimed at improving the ease of living for citizens, while also creating a more enabling and work-friendly environment for government employees.

He said the reforms were guided by the principle of “minimum government, maximum governance”, with emphasis on simplifying procedures, reducing pendency and ensuring timely delivery of services.

The minister added that greater use of technology and systematic monitoring helped make governance more responsive, transparent and citizen-centric, resulting in faster grievance redressal and more efficient utilisation of government resources.
