New Delhi, 30 December (H.S.): Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport returned to normal on Tuesday morning after dense fog disrupted air traffic earlier this week. With visibility levels improving significantly, arrivals and departures are now running smoothly, airport authorities confirmed. In an official statement, the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said operations were proceeding as per schedule after a marked improvement in weather conditions.

The airport operator assured passengers that dedicated ground staff were deployed across all terminals to provide necessary assistance and ensure seamless travel.DIAL also issued a passenger advisory urging travelers to stay in touch with their respective airlines to check for any last-minute updates in flight timings..

Earlier, heavy fog across the National Capital Region had caused major disruption at IGI Airport, resulting in multiple flight delays and cancellations due to drastically reduced visibility. The situation has since stabilized following improved meteorological conditions, restoring normalcy in air traffic management.

Officials added that visibility at runways is now within operational limits, allowing full resumption of regular flight schedules after two days of disruptions triggered by the season’s most intense fog spell.
