Balrampur,

29 Dec (HS): Inspired by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's

initiative to serve cows and protect destitute cattle, a cow shelter is being

run in his name in Nepal. A cow shelter,

the Yogi Adityanath Foundation Gau Seva Samiti, operates, currently

providing shelter and care to approximately four hundred destitute and helpless

cattle. This initiative has generated significant enthusiasm among Nepal's

saints and Hindu organizations.

A

temple delegation reached Devipatan on Monday to seek the time of Chief

Minister Yogi and Devipatan Peethadhishwar Maharaj Mithleshnath Yogiji for the

inauguration of the cowshed. Cowshed operator Bharatnath Yogi in the delegation

told Hindustan Samachar representative that a team of 10 volunteers takes care

of the cattle here, while local traders and devotees are cooperating in its

operation. Proper arrangements for fodder, cleanliness and medical treatment

have been made for the cattle in the cowshed. Saint Bharatnath Yogi said that

there is also a plan to increase the capacity of the cowshed in the future, so

that more destitute cattle can get shelter.

Saints

from Nepal and foundation officials met with the head priest of the Devipatan

temple in Uttar Pradesh to formally inaugurate the cowshed. A detailed

discussion was held regarding the date and time of the inauguration. The

delegation requested Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's arrival and blessings so

that the cowshed could be inaugurated on a grand scale in Nepal. It was stated

that the date would be announced soon.

After

meeting the delegation, Mithlesh Nath Yogi, Devipatan Peethadhishwar Maharaj,

expressed his happiness over the cow service initiative launched in Nepal in

the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He described it as an important

initiative to strengthen cow protection as well as the religious and cultural

ties between India and Nepal and wished for the successful organization of the

program. Dr. Narayan Nath Yogi, priest of Pir Ratan Nath Yogi Math in the Dang

region of Nepal, and other saints were also present. This cow service

initiative launched in Nepal is being seen as a new inspiration in the field of

cow protection in both countries.
