Guwahati, 29 December (HS): The Assam BJP on Monday said the state is witnessing a new cultural renaissance under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. Party spokesperson Ranjiv Kumar Sharma said the Batadrava Cultural Project, completed on time under the CM’s vision, has been developed as a major centre of Assam’s cultural resurgence and was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He said several landmark projects, including the Batadrava complex, the Jyoti–Bishnu Auditorium and the modern Guwahati Police Headquarters, reflect the CM’s commitment to inclusive development. Sharma added that under Dr Sarma’s leadership, Assam has entered a new era of overall development, earning strong public support across the state.---------
