Guwahati, 26 December (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday paid rich tributes to the Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, remembering their unparalleled courage and sacrifice at a very young age in defence of religion and the motherland.

The Chief Minister said in his social media massage that the valour displayed by Guru Gobind Singh’s sons remains an eternal source of inspiration for the nation. He noted that their heroic saga is a priceless heritage, which is commemorated every year through the observance of Veer Bal Diwas.

Dr Sarma also bowed in reverence to the bravery and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, Mata Gujri and Guru Gobind Singh, stating that their supreme sacrifice continues to guide generations with the values of courage, faith, and patriotism.
