Jamshedpur, 24 December (H.S.): Uganda's professional golfer Joshua Seal's team triumphed in the Pro-Am event of the Tata Open 2025 golf tournament on Wednesday, securing the top honors with an impressive score of 51.8.The winning squad comprised amateur players Pratham Chaudhary, Gokul Chaudhary, and Ajay Kumar Mishra, who complemented Seal's expertise to claim first place in the keenly contested competition.Vinay Kumar Yadav's team finished as runners-up with a total score of 54.1.

Their lineup included amateur players Anil Kumar Shukla, Alam Noori, and MK Jha, delivering a strong performance throughout the event.

Several individual accolades highlighted the tournament's excitement. Varun Sony earned the longest drive award on hole number 8, with his powerful shot landing 321 yards away, captivating spectators.

Sharat Kumar stunned everyone on hole number 7 in the 'Closest to the Pin' contest by achieving a hole-in-one, securing that prestigious prize. Meanwhile, Mrinal Kanti Paul claimed the Closest to the Pin honor on hole number 17, as his tee shot came to rest just 8.7 inches from the hole.Monika Luktuke rounded out the individual awards by winning the Straightest Drive on hole number 12, with her shot landing precisely on the rope marking the fairway's center.
