Thiruvananthapuram, 20 Dec (H.S.):Renowned actor and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony of the State School Arts Festival, scheduled to take place from January 14 to 18.

This year, the cultural extravaganza will be hosted in Thrissur, which is gearing up to welcome thousands of student performers from across Kerala.

Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that the ceremonial flag-hoisting and the official logo launch of the festival will be conducted today.

Ministers K. Rajan and R. Bindu are also expected to attend the inaugural events.

With various art, music, dance, and literary competitions spread across multiple venues, the festival is considered one of the biggest cultural platforms for school students in the state.

Organisers stated that preparations are in full swing to ensure a smooth and vibrant celebration of student talent.
