13 Dec (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid respect to the

security people who died in the 2001 Parliament assault, underlining that the

nation will be eternally thankful for their sacrifice. In a post, CM Adityanath remarked that the

incident was a horrific assault on the nation's sovereignty, dignity, and

popular power. He ended his remarks with

Jai Hind!, honoring the eternal heroes who gave their lives to safeguard

Parliament and the country.

His

post on X, reads as follows: “The cowardly terrorist attack on the Indian

Parliament House, the temple of democracy, on this day in 2001 was a brutal

blow to the nation's autonomy, self-respect, and people's power. Humble tribute

to the immortal heroes who sacrificed their lives in this heartbreaking

incident, defending the dignity of Parliament and the nation. The nation will

always be grateful to them. Jai Hind!”
