Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 13 Nov (HS): The

Anti-Terrorist Squad of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar exposed a racket extracting

money from people in the name of extending help to Palestinians in Gaza affected

by the war. He exploited the people in the name of religion and emotionally for

collecting the money.

Police have booked Sayyad Babar Ali, who had formed

Ahmad Raja Foundation and also issued a fake QR Code to collect the money. He

also registered another organisation Raja Empowerment Foundation and projected

it on YouTube with appeal to donate money.

During investigation it was found that Sayyad Babar

Ali transferred Rs 10,24,220 through 14 transactions using an international

donation portal GOFUNDME.COM. The Police

and ATS personnel are investigating the recipients of the money transferred by

him.
