Delhi, 25 October (H.S.): The Indian domestic bullion market continued its downward trajectory on Saturday, with both gold and silver prices registering a significant fall. Marking its sixth consecutive day of losses, gold prices tumbled by a range of ₹650 to ₹710 per 10 grams.

Silver also saw a substantial decline, with its price dropping by as much as ₹4,000 per kilogram.This persistent decline has brought the price of 24-carat gold to a range of ₹1,24,360 to ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams in most national markets. Consequently, 22-carat gold is now trading between ₹1,13,990 and ₹1,14,140 per 10 grams.

In the Delhi bullion market, the price for silver settled at ₹1,54,900 per kilogram.In the nation's capital, New Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,14,140. In India's financial hub, Mumbai, 24-carat and 22-carat gold were trading at ₹1,24,360 and ₹1,13,990 per 10 grams, respectively.

A similar trend was observed in other major cities, including Chennai and Kolkata, where both purities of gold mirrored Mumbai's prices.The price correction was widespread, affecting markets across the country.

In cities like Lucknow and Jaipur, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at ₹1,14,140. The trend of lower prices was also consistent in the southern and eastern state capitals of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, where 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,24,360 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,13,990 per 10 grams.
