Karbi Anglong (Assam), 05 January (HS): An important traditional puja of the Karbi tribe people Rangker Karkali or Rangker Puja is being organised with great pomp in various villages of Karbi Anglong on Sunday this year too.

This puja is mainly performed by the agriculture-dominated Karbi society to protect against various diseases, disasters, bad times and evil eyes. Like every year, this year too Rangker Puja has organised with traditional religious rituals in various villages of Kheroni in West Karbi Anglong.
