Dhubri (Assam), 03 January (HS): A woman killed after being hit by a train in Geramari area of Gauripur on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Ambia Bibi, wife of Shanjab Ali, a resident of Dangirchar.

The woman killed on the spot after being hit by a goods train coming from Shiliguri to Guwahati. Gauripur Police and Railway Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to Dhubri Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
