Plaghar, 06 Jan (HS): Palghar district’s Dahanu and Dapchari region residents woke up to tremors on Monday morning. They ran out of their homes immediately, as tremors were felt thrice in the morning.

There was no report of loss of life or property. the intensity of the earthquake was at 3.7 on the Richter Scale.

Palghar’s Dahanu and Talsari tehsils have been

facing earthquakes since 2018. The tremors were low or medium. Cracks in the walls

of some houses in rural areas were reported. Dahanu, Dapchari, and Dhndalwadi

region experienced mild tremors on December 31, 2024
