Imphal, 03 January (HS): Security forces recovered a huge quantity of weapons from the hill and valley districts of Manipur. Security forces conducted a search operation in border and sensitive areas. During this, a huge quantity of weapons and ammunition were recovered from the forest areas of Saiboh village in Churachandpur district.

The recovered material includes one SLR magazine, three indigenous SBBL (SBBL) guns, two 9mm pistol magazines, three 7.62mm live rounds and four SBBL live cartridges.

Security forces have strengthened their presence in the area and maintained control over the situation.
