Haridwar, January 21 (HS). Today, is the last day of campaigning for the Uttarakhand municipal elections. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a road show in Roorkee and Laksar today and appealed to the people to make the BJP candidates victorious with a huge number of votes. Huge crowds gathered in the road show at both the places and people welcomed the Chief Minister by showering flowers at various places. During this, he appealed to make all the councilors victorious, including BJP mayor candidate Anita Agarwal in Roorkee and Municipal Council President candidate Devendra Chaudhary in Laksar.

Dhami said that you have formed a double engine government at the Center and the state. This is the reason that while public welfare schemes are going on under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the prestige of the nation has increased at the global level. He said that steps like implementing strict anti-conversion law to stop illegal conversion in Uttarakhand, taking action against land jihad and freeing more than five thousand acres of land from encroachment and implementing the country's strictest anti-copying law are major achievements of the government. He said that Uttarakhand is soon going to become the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code. Now there is a need to form a triple engine government for complete development at the local level.

The Chief Minister's road show in Roorkee started from Shiv Chowk Ramnagar and ended at Maharana Pratap Chowk via the main market Civil Line. At the same time, the road show in Laksar started from BJP candidate Devendra Chaudhary's office Nandvatika and ended at Arya Samaj located at Baseri Mark, passing through the middle of Laksar city.
