SRINAGAR, 25 April (H.S.): In the aftermath of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kulgam Police launched extensive search operations at multiple locations across the district on Friday.

On the directions of SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal (IPS), security forces carried out coordinated searches in Watoo, KB Pora, Cheki Watoo, and Chugalpora in DH Pora, the Sopat area of Devsar, and various locations in the Qazigund belt.

The operations focused on the residences of suspected terrorist associates. According to police officials, the searches aimed to uncover any links to the recent attack and to disrupt the network of terror support systems within the region.

“These operations are part of a broader intelligence-led strategy to crack down on anti-national elements and prevent any further threats to peace and security in the region,” a senior police officer stated.
