Jorhat (Assam), 02 January (HS): One person killed and three people were injured in a road accident on Tiak-Selenghat Road on Wednesday night. The car numbered lost control and collided with a roadside tree, causing the accident.

The deceased in the accident has been identified as Abhijit Chetia. The injured include Raktim Phukan, Debbrata Chetia and Seemant Bora. All the injured have been admitted to Jorhat Medical College.
