Mahakumbh
Nagar, 15 January (H.S.): A 21-member international delegation from ten
countries is preparing to take the sacred dip at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, capturing global attention.
The event, organized by the Uttar Pradesh
government, highlights India's diverse cultural tapestries. Fiji, Finland,
Guyana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and
Tobago, and the United Arab Emirates are among the participating countries.
Hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs, the delegation will experience the
cultural splendour of the region through arrangements made at Tent City in
Arail. The two-day agenda includes a history walk, a holy bath at Triveni
Sangam, and an aerial view of the Maha Kumbh region to immerse participants in
India's spiritual legacy.
Maha Kumbh, which takes place every 12 years at the
confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati in Prayagraj, is one of the
world's greatest spiritual gatherings.
