Bhubaneswar, 28 September (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Jharkhand starting September 30.

According to sources, Majhi will first visit Jagannathpur in the West Singhbhum district on September 30, where he will participate in a pre-election rally.

On September 1, he will then travel to Kolhan in Chaibasa to take part in the BJP's Parivartan Yatra.

During his recent visit to Odisha, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with CM Majhi. Biswa Sarma is the deputy in charge of the Jharkhand BJP.

It is worth noting that while the dates for the Assembly elections in Jharkhand have yet to be announced, the BJP has already begun its preparations for the polls.
