Guwahati, 26 June (HS): Police have recovered three minor girls missing from Sunshine Public School located at Nepali Chowk in Noonmati area of Guwahati from New Jalpaiguri. Police said on Wednesday that the parents had dropped their three minor girls at Sunshine Public School located at Nepali Chowk in the area at 8:30 am on Tuesday.

Around 11:00 am, they came to know that the three girls were not in the school. After this, the parents lodged an FIR of missing in Noonmati police station. On the basis of the FIR lodged by the parents, a team of Noonmati police station, with the help of RPF, recovered the three minor girls safely from New Jalpaiguri last night. The girls are being brought back to Guwahati to be reunited with their families. Police is investigating the case on the basis of the FIR registered.
