Imphal, 26 June (HS): Manipur Police conducted intensive raids and search operations in sensitive and inaccessible areas of various districts of the state. In the operation, 77 persons have been detained in connection with violation of different sections of the law.

Police said on Wednesday that the movement of 85 vehicles on National Highway No. 37 and 243 vehicles on National Highway No. 2 with essential commodities has been ensured. Tight security measures have been taken at all sensitive places to ensure free and safe movement of vehicles. Security forces have been deployed on a large scale in sensitive areas. Police said that 125 check posts and check posts have been set up in various districts of Manipur in both hill and valley.
