Lucknow, 11 June (HS): Surya Pratap Shahi, Agriculture Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, organized Bhandara on Bada Mangal festival. After offering Prasad at the Hanuman Temple in Hazratganj area and seeking blessings for the peace and security of the state, the Agriculture Minister distributed the Prasad.

On the auspicious occasion of the third big Tuesday of the month of Jyeshtha, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra also participated in the Bhandara at the Hanuman Temple complex in Hazratganj area. He came to participate and started helping in distribution of Prasad. After distributing Prasad for some time, the Chief Secretary left from there with Prasad for himself. In the Bhandara of Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, State Government's Energy Minister AK Sharma, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantradev Singh, Minister Dharamveer, Minister Rakesh Sachan, Minister Nand Gopal Nandi, Minister Rajni Tiwari participated.

During the Bhandara, Agricultural Production Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh was present the entire time and kept distributing Prasad to the people. All the officers of Agriculture Department were also present in the program during this period. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached the third Mangal Bhandara organized by BJP leader Guddu Tripathi in Alambagh area of the city. There, the Deputy Chief Minister started distributing Prasad by offering flowers to the picture of Lord Hanuman on the stage. Meanwhile, Brajesh Pathak reached two more programs and participated in Bhandara. Bhandara program was organized in the city by Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board, Working Journalist Association and major business organizations. Lord Hanuman was worshiped first in Bhandara programs. The Bhandara was started by offering Prasad. Bhandara was organized on major roads like Hazratganj Marg, Alambagh Marg, Indira Nagar Marg, Vidhan Sabha Marg, Charbagh Marg.
