Majuli (Assam), 26 April (HS). Renowned musician and singer Zubin Garg will have to return the title of 'Sangeet Sindhu'. Majuli District Satra Mahasabha has taken this important decision against popular musician Zubin Garg. District Satra Mahasabha has appealed to Majuli Bihu organising committees not to invite Jubin in any cultural program in Majuli. The Satra Mahasabha also submitted the report of the entire matter to Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma through the District Commissioner.

A proposal has been taken by the Satra Mahasabha to return the title of 'Sangeet Sindhu' given to the artist from Majuli to Zubin.

A notification made public by the Majuli District Satra Mahasabha mentioned that Zubin Garg has a concert scheduled in East Majuli on April 29. If the event is organized on that day, the organizing committee and administration will be responsible for any untoward situation that may arise.

It is noteworthy that two days before prominent artist Zubin Garg had gone to Majuli to perform a concert. Majuli District Satra Mahasabha has expressed displeasure over the controversial remarks made by the artiste on the stage that day.
