Guwahati, 24 April (HS): Outgoing Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has said that Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma can do anything to save his chair. He can take the land of Assam and can also give the land of Assam to others. He can bring others and settle them in Assam and can also send the people of Assam out.

He said that the Chief Minister has no whereabouts. Gaurav Gogoi alleged that recently the Chief Minister had talked about giving the land of Barak Valley to Manipur and Mizoram. They have started efforts to bring Chakma-Hajong from Arunachal Pradesh and settle them here. Gaurav Gogoi said that the Chief Minister's chair is actually in danger. There is a tremendous tussle going on within the party. Party leaders and workers are not openly participating in the election campaign.

He said that in Jorhat the Chief Minister did everything from cycling to dancing. But, the result will be revealed with the election result. He said that the Chief Minister adopted many tactics in Nagaon, but it did not seem to have any impact. Gaurav Gogoi was talking to the media after attending an event on the last day of the second phase of election campaign today.
