Hailakandi (Assam), 23 April (HS): AIUDF chief and outgoing MP Maulana Badruddin Ajmal on Tuesday broke the microphone by slamming it on the stage during an election program in Hailakandi in Barak Valley of Assam.

It is happened when Ajmal reached the stage to address an election program in support of his party's candidate. He was repeatedly trying to speak into the mic, but no sound was coming. On this, Ajmal first called the three MLAs of his party present on the stage incompetent and scolded them. Ajmal did not stop there. In anger, he threw the mic on the stage, causing it to shatter. After slamming the mic, Ajmal got off the stage and went back from the venue. A crowd of people remained gathered there. This kind of behavior by MP Ajmal has happened many times in the past also. On stage, he often gets angry suddenly and performs strange acts. At the same time, Ajmal always answers the questions of journalists in a bitter manner. Ajmal is always surrounded by allegations of harsh behavior with his party leaders, workers, MLAs etc.
