Delhi, April 19 (HS). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized the immovable property of Surat Singh, a key associate of Pakistan-based Khalistani terrorists. This seizure has been made in the Jalalabad motorcycle bomb blast case. According to ANI, chargesheet has been filed against nine accused so far in this case. Surat Singh is one in this. NIA gave this information on Friday.

According to the NIA, Surat Singh alias Surti has been an associate of 2021 motorcycle bomb blast accused and Pakistan-based drugs and arms smuggler Habib Khan alias Doctor and Lakhbir Singh alias Rode. In this case, under the provisions of NDPS Act 1985, 13 Kanal, 17 Marla and 5 Sarsai land of Surat Singh, resident of Mahatam Nagar, Fazilka, Punjab, has been confiscated.

A case was registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosives Act at Fazilka Sadar police station in Punjab on September 16, 2021, a day after the deadly blast in Bajaj Platina bike in Jalalabad. After this, NIA took over the case on 1 October 2021.

NIA investigation revealed that Habib Khan and Lakhbir Singh, along with Surat Singh and other associates, had formed a terrorist gang in Punjab. The objective of which was to carry out IED blasts and operate narco-terrorist racket to destabilize the area.
