Prayagraj, 2 May (HS): To fulfil the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah for achieving prosperity through cooperation, self-reliant agriculture and self-reliant India, under the leadership of IFFCO Managing Director Dr. Udai Shanker Awasthi IFFCO Nano Zinc (Liquid) and IFFCO Nano Copper (Liquid), prepared with IFFCO's nano technology, have been notified by the Government of India under the Fertilizer Control Order (FCO).

Already Nano Urea and Nano Urea Plus have been notified. These products have been notified for three years, making four liquid fertilizer products of IFFCO available to the farmers. Zinc and copper are fertilizers falling in the category of micronutrients. Adding zinc to crops not only increases the nutritional value of the crop but also increases crop yield, resistance of the crop to environmental threats like drought and disease. Increase in yield increases the income of farmers.

Copper activates certain enzymes in plants; it is also essential in the process of photosynthesis, is essential in plant respiration and assists in plant metabolism of carbohydrates and proteins. This product is in the interest of farmers, soil and plants. This information was given by Senior Executive Director (Unit Head) Sanjay Kudesia.

On this occasion IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari and General Secretary Swayam Prakash, IFFCO Employees union President Pankaj Pandey and General Secretary Vinay Kumar Yadav expressed positive sentiments.
