Indian killed in Madarsa in Nepal


Kathmandu, 19 Apr (HS): An Indian national was abducted and killed in Nepal. Nepal police have arrested three persons in this connection.

Jamal Ahmad (41), a native of Bardpur Pokharmita in Siddharth Nagar district of East Uttar Pradesh was killed in a Madarsa in Nepal’s Kapivastu. According to SP Hari Bahadur, Vali Jamal Ahmad was crossing the border from Siddharth Nagar on a motorcycle, when some people abducted him near Bijwa Bridge on the Nepal border and took him in a tempo. Police started an investigation as Jamal’s motorcycle bearing number plate UP 55 AH 2057 was found abandoned. The investigation led police personnel to a Madarsa in Kapilvastu. The dead body of Jamal was found in a room of the Madarsa. The body was handed over to his relatives after the post mortem.

Three persons, living in the Madarsa were arrested under suspicion and are being interrogated. Police suspect dispute related to land or money behind the murder.
