Imphal, 26 February (HS): Manipur Police conducted intensive raids and search operations in sensitive and inaccessible areas of various districts of the state. In the operation, 281 persons were detained for violating various sections of the Indian Judicial Code. Police today said that strict security measures have been taken at all sensitive places to ensure free and safe movement of vehicles. Security forces have been deployed on a large scale in sensitive areas. Police said 141 checkpoints and check posts have been set up in various districts of Manipur, both in the hills and the valley.
