Hyderabad, 28 October (H.S.): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a red alert for several districts in Telangana, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next few days.

The IMD has also cautioned about the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in many parts of the state.

According to the Telangana Weatherman, who is known for accurate forecasts, South and Central Telangana are likely to receive very heavy downpours in the coming hours.

Rains Expected in Hyderabad

For Hyderabad, the IMD has forecast moderate rains in the afternoon, with a reduction in rainfall expected from evening hours.

The city is also likely to experience intermittent rains or thunderstorms on Tuesday, accompanied by gusty winds.

The weather department further predicted mist or hazy conditions during the morning hours till October 31 (Friday).

Advisory for Residents

Residents have been advised to plan their travel carefully and take precautions in view of the expected rains and thunderstorms.
