New Delhi, 4 December (H.S.): The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the European Space Agency's (ESA) Proba-3 spacecraft on Wednesday from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
The 25-hour countdown for the launch began on December 3 and preparations are currently underway for the launch at 4:08 pm on December 4.
This dedicated commercial mission, also known as Project for Onboard Autonomy, involves two spacecraft flying together as one to study the sun's outer atmosphere. ISRO will be using its trusted PSLV rocket for this mission, showcasing its capabilities in the commercial space industry.
This collaboration between ISRO and ESA marks a significant milestone in international cooperation in the field of space exploration and research. It also highlights ISRO's growing status as a major player in the global space market.
