Nagpur, 04 Dec

(HS): The open secret was formally endorsed by the Bharatiya Janata Party in its

core committee meeting and then legislative committee that Devendra Fadnavis

has been elected the party leader. As njo other nomination was received

Fadnavis was elected unopposed. He will take oath as the Chief Minister of

Maharashtra on Thursday.

BJP will claim

formation of the government with the support of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and

Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar) with the Governor around 3.30 pm on

Wednesday. The preparations for the induction programme of the CM has already

been planned and will be held at 5 pm on December 5.

The Core

Committee meeting WAS HELD BEFORE THE Maharashtra party meeting. Fadnavis’s

name was finalised. Chandrakant Patil and Sudhir Mungatinwar moved the

resolution and supported by representatives of various units of BJP in the

state.

Eknath Shinde

and Ajit Pawar is set to become Deputy Chief Ministers in the Fadnavis-led

government.

Celebrations in

front of Fadnavis began in the morning itself. Fadnavis from Nagpur is taking

over as Maharashtra’s CM for the second time if his efforts with Ajit Pawar,

which lasted for a few hours is left aside.
