On refusal to give a bribe, the complainant demanded legal action from the Directorate. After this, today on 30 December, the Directorate team laid a trap in Bajali Revenue Circle Office and arrested Daneshwar Daimari red handed when he accepted two thousand rupees as the bribe from the complainant.
The bribe amount was recovered and it was seized in the presence of independent witnesses. The accused was arrested after getting sufficient evidence against him. In this regard, a case has been registered in ACB Police Station under Section 7 (a) of the Anti-Corruption Act. Legal action is underway.
