Dehradun, 02 January (HS): District Magistrate Savin Bansal held a review meeting of unregistered madrasas operating in the district in Rishiparna Auditorium. He issued strict guidelines to the officials in this regard. The District Magistrate directed all the Sub-District Magistrates to submit complete details of unregistered madrasas operating in their area. In this work, instructions were given to survey the madrasas and ensure necessary action by establishing coordination with the District Minority Welfare Officer and Education Department.

Along with this, instructions were also given for the investigation of registered madrasas, in which emphasis was laid on submitting a detailed report of compliance with NCERT curriculum, mid-day meal, cleanliness, lighting and other basic facilities. Additional District Magistrate Administration Jai Bharat Singh, Joint Magistrate Gauri Prabhat, Deputy Headquarters Shalini Negi and Vikasnagar Sub-District Magistrate Vinod Kumar were present in the meeting.

Apart from this, Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Harigiri, Aparna Dhoundiyal of Doiwala and Smriti Parmar of Rishikesh joined through virtual medium. The District Magistrate also gave instructions to ensure that the rules are strictly followed in the operation of all the madrasas operating in the district.
