The arrested person has been identified as Ghazi Rahman. Under Operation Praghat, the Special Operations Team of Assam Police took this action and succeeded in catching the jihadi.

The arrested jihadi is accused of being involved in anti-India activities. The Special Operations Team of Assam Police has so far arrested many jihadis from different parts of India.
