New Delhi, 27 December (HS): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has paid emotional tribute to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale issued a joint condolence message after receiving the news of the former Prime Minister's death. After this, as a representative of the All India Executive of the Sangh, Joint General Secretary Alok Kumar went to the residence of former Prime Minister Dr. Singh and paid floral tribute to his mortal remains and offered his last respects. Earlier, in the condolence message issued by RSS, RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said, The entire country is deeply saddened by the demise of former Prime Minister of India and senior leader of the country Dr. Manmohan Singh. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh expresses its deepest condolences to his family, countless loved ones and admirers.''
In a condolence message, the Sangh said, ''Dr. Manmohan Singh adorned the highest post in the country despite coming from a simple background. Renowned economist Dr. Singh's contribution to India will always be remembered and cherished. We pray to God to grant salvation to the departed soul.''
