New Delhi, December 23 (HS): Students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi have received over 1200 job offers including pre-placement offers (PPOs) in the ongoing placement season for the academic year 2024-25. Around 1150 individual students have been selected so far, which reflects the strong placement record of the institute.

Those who have given double digit offers on campus so far this year include American Express, Barclays, BCG, Bluestone Jewellery & Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, Deutsche India Pvt Ltd, Goldman Sachs, Google, Graviton Research Capital, Intel India, Meesho, Micron Technology, Microsoft, Ola, Oracle, PayU, QuadI, Qualcomm, Robust Results Pvt Ltd, Shiprocket, Squarepoint Capital, Texas Instruments, Trident Group and Turing Global India Pvt Ltd.

In this phase, students have also received more than 50 international offers from more than 15 prestigious organizations from several global regions including Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

Commenting on the current placement season, Professor Naresh Verma Datla, Professor-in-Charge, Office of Career Services (OCS), said that IIT Delhi has had a very good start and is performing very well so far. We believe that a similar trend will continue in the days to come. The Office of Career Services is focusing on expanding the range of companies and job profiles to meet the needs of students coming for placements in the coming days. Professor Suresh Neelakantan, Co-in-Charge, OCS, IIT Delhi said, We sincerely appreciate our recruiters for recognizing the talent and potential of our students and we congratulate the students for their perseverance and excellent efforts.

The placement season, which will run till the end of the next semester, focuses on the placements of undergraduate and postgraduate students of IIT Delhi.
