From cities to villages, Raas Leelas are being organized at various levels. comprehensive preparations are going on for these Raas Leelas. Starting from 15 November, Raas Mahotsav will be organized for the whole month.
It is believed that Raas Mahotsavs are being organized in Assam since the time of Sri Krishna Raas Leela on the day of Kartik Purnima in Dwapar Yug. Bhagwan Shri Krishna has had a special relationship with the land of Assam. Shri Krishna's Patrani Rukminiji was a resident of (Rukmininagar) Guwahati city. This is the reason why Krishna Bhakti is done on a large scale in Assam. Even in this era, after the great Sant Srimanta Shankardev established Namghars for Shri Krishna Naam Kirtan in every house of Assam, the whole of Assam has been colored in the color of Lord Krishna. Although there is no dearth of Shaiv and Shakt in Assam, these days the flow of devotion towards Lord Shri Krishna, the pioneer of Vaishnavite culture, is flowing in every street of Assam. Because, Lord Shri Krishna is equally worshipped by Shaiv and Shakt.
Preparations are being made to organize Raas Mahotsav on a large scale in Nalbari and Suwalkuchi of the state. Many well-known Bollywood artists are also arriving to act in these festivals. At the same time, various types of tableaux of Lord Shri Krishna are being prepared.
According to our Nagaon correspondent, the Raas Mahotsav of Shri Krishna has started. Like different parts of the state, preparations are being made for Shri Krishna Raas Mahotsav in Roha as well.
On the initiative of Roha kendriya Raas Utsav Samiti, a two-day Raas Mahotsav will be organized for the second time on 22 and 23 November. The sounds of Khol, Taal etc. are resonating in the local playground. In every corner of different areas of Roha, everyone from children to daughters-in-law and daughters of the village is busy in the Raas arena.
According to our correspondent from Jorhat, there is a festive atmosphere all around in Kakjan Bam Kukurasawa village regarding the preparations for the 81st Raas Mahotsav. Krishna's scene is visible everywhere. As the day of Lord Shri Krishna's Raas Mahotsav is approaching, the hustle and bustle is increasing. Therefore, the Raas organizers have made preparations for the staging of Kans Vadh.
Raas is being organized on a large scale in Kakjan Bam Kukurasawa village of Jorhat. This time also the 81st Raas Mahotsav has been organized by the people of Kakjan Bamkusawa village with a colorful program like before. Preparations have been made in every house of the village to welcome the guests arriving during the Raas.
According to the correspondent of Hindustan News from Majuli, extensive preparations are going on for Shri Shri Krishna Rasotsav in Majuli. comprehensive preparations are being made to stage Raas on more than 12 dozens of stages in the Majuli. Along with the organizers, the artists are busy preparing the stages. People of all age groups are busy preparing for Raas.
Raas will be performed in the Mising in Majuli's Ajarguri, Nayabazar, Kuhiyabari etc. At the same time, Shishu Raas and Mahila Raas are being organized in Mudaibhil, Bhakti Dwar etc. On the other hand, the main function in East Majuli is being organized on a large scale by the Gayan Gaon Navjyoti Krishti Sangh.
