Charaideo (Assam), 6 November (HS): One hawker was killed in a road accident in Sapekhati of Charaideo. Police said on Wednesday that the cyclist killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding SUV. The accident occurred when the deceased was selling goods on a bicycle.

The accident took place near Rohan Bharali pond on National Highway 52 in Sapekhati. The Scorpio car (AR-01K-5655) which caused the accident has been caught.
