Majuli (Assam), 6 November (HS): Extensive preparations are underway for Shri Krishna Rasotsav in Majuli. Extensive preparations are being made to stage Raas on more than 65 stages in the town of Majuli.

Along with the organizers, the artists are busy preparing the stages. People of all age groups are busy preparing for Raas.

Raas will be performed in the Mising language in Majuli's Ajarguri, Nayabazar, Kuhiyabari etc. At the same time, Shishu Raas and Mahila Raas are being organized in Mudaabil, Bhakti Dwar etc. On the other hand, the main function in East Majuli is being organized on a large scale by the Gayan Gaon Navjyoti Krishti Sangh.

The whole of Majuli is busy celebrating Rasotsav. Extensive arrangements have been made for sound and light. The whole of Majuli is being decorated.

It is noteworthy that along with Majuli, preparations for the Raas Mahotsav are going on in full swing at many places in the state including Nalbari, Palasbari.
