BJP district president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan celebrated festive fusion

“Karwa Chauth and Diwali Utsav” by DA Lifestyle Exhibitiors at KC Regalia, here

today.

The event was marked by the ceremonial lighting

of a traditional lamp by chief guest, Rekha Mahajan along with special guests

Geetanjali Mahahan, Divya Jain, Ritika Mahajan. The event was organized by

Divya Abrol.

Organized in collaboration with numerous

sponsors, the event transformed into a carnival like gathering, adding sparkle

to the festival spirit. This celebration is dedicated to the thousands of

strong women and girls who fast for their husbands on Karwa Chauth, which falls

on 20th October.

The grand event featured a wide range of festive

dresses, jewellery, handmade bangles, wedding trousseau packing, handbags,

clutches, and other attractive items. Hundreds of women and young girls were

seen shopping in their festive attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Speaking on the occasion, Rekha Mahajan

highlighted the connection between the event and traditional rituals. She

praised women for embodying values such as ethics, loyalty, decisiveness, and

leadership in various aspects of life. Rekha emphasized that Indian culture and

traditions encourage women to contribute to the nation’s development under the

visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event aimed to empower and celebrate women’s

contributions to society. Divya Abrol expressed, “We’re proud to provide a

platform for women to come together, shop and enjoy the festive spirit.”
