Mumbai, 31 Oct (HS): A total of 7,994 nomination

forms were received in 288 constituencies for which polling is scheduled to be

held on November 20. Following scrutiny 7,073 nominations by 921 candidates were

found valid, the Chief Election Commissioner’s office announced.

The last date for filing nomination forms was

October 29. The forms were scrutinised on October 30.
