Nagpur, 31 Oct (HS):-

Nagpur police intensified its drive against drug trafficking. A special

team of sniffer dogs has been deployed to detect the drug trafficking, especially

in trains and private buses. Almost all the buses coming from Mumbai and

Pune are being examined.

Nagpur Commissioner

of Police Dr Ravinder Kumar Singal and Deputy Police Commissioner Mahak Swami

are acting swiftly to detect drugs being transported by bus using courier or

parcel services.

The drive is

important as Assembly elections will be held in the next few days. Illegal

transport of liquor, narcotic drugs, cash are under police scanner.
