New Delhi, October 30 (HS): For the convenience of rail passengers and to reduce the extra rush during the festive season, the Railways has decided to run three pairs of special trains between Ranchi Junction-Anand Vihar Terminal and New Delhi-Patna Junction-Prayagraj Junction.
Northern Railway said on Wednesday that a superfast AC festival special train will run between Ranchi Junction-Anand Vihar Terminal. Train number 02877 Ranchi Junction-Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Weekly AC Special will run every Friday from 1 to 15 November. This train will leave Ranchi at 23.55 and reach Anand Vihar at 3 pm the next day. Train number 02878 Anand Vihar Terminal-Ranchi Junction-Festival Weekly AC Special will run every Monday from 4 to 18 November. This train will leave Anand Vihar at four o'clock and reach Ranchi at 5 pm the next day. Both trains will stop at Murai, Barkakana, Tori Junction, Latehar, Daltonganj, Garhwa Road Junction, Japla, Nabinagar Road, Dehri on Son, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central stations on the way.
Apart from this, Superfast AC Festival Special train will run between New Delhi-Patna Junction. Train number 04002 New Delhi - Patna AC Festival Special left on October 30 at 11.30 am and will reach Patna at 5 am the next day. Train number 04001 Patna-New Delhi AC Festival Special will leave Patna at 8 am on October 31 and will reach New Delhi at 1.20 pm the next day. These trains will stop at Sahibabad, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations in both directions.
According to Northern Railway, train number 04004 New Delhi-Patna AC Festival Special will leave Patna at 5 am on November 1 and reach New Delhi at 11.30 am the next day. Train number 04003 Patna-Prayagraj Junction AC Festival Special will leave Prayagraj Junction at 14.30 pm on November 2 and reach Patna at 8 am the next day. This train will stop at Sahibabad, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations.
