Mumbai, 30 Oct (HS): A mass transfer of 263 Police

Inspectors have been shifted on Wednesday. A total of 221 out of them are from

Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Meera-Bhaindar, Vasai-Virar commissionerate and 42 are under

the district superintendent’s office.

They were transferred based on information provided

by the Home Ministry and letters from the Election Commission. The transfer orders

were issued by the Inspector General of Police K M Mallikarjun Prasanna.
